The Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza is witnessing the convening of the Rise Up summit this weekend, one of the largest entrepreneurship summits in the Arab region, which Cairo has been hosting annually since 2013. The summit will run between next Thursday and Saturday, and will witness the participation of several representatives from the blockchain sector worldwide.
In addition to the main program at the Grand Egyptian Museum, there will be several events in other locations in Cairo, including a meetup for the blockchain and artificial intelligence community, which will take place at the GrEEK Campus in Downtown on Saturday afternoon. The meetup is hosted by Arabs in Blockchain, Blokkat, and People of Data initiatives, along with Chainlink. The meetup is also supported by blockchain companies Cartesi, Pravica, and 1inch.
The meetup program runs from 10:30 AM until 3 PM, and includes a panel discussion bringing together representatives from global blockchain and AI companies, on the impact of these sectors on the entrepreneurship world, in addition to a networking opportunity for the Web3 community in Cairo. One of Taxir’s members, Ammar Manla Hasan, will also be present at the meetup.
