New NFT Collection to Raise Funds for Gaza

The Indonesian city of Bali witnessed on Monday the launch of the collection “Art for Humanity 2: Solidarity with Palestinian Civilians” at the Superlative exhibition, a real NFT exhibition developed by the Secret Superlative Community, composed of Superlative NFT collectors.

The collection aims to raise donations for Palestinian refugees in Gaza by selling unique artworks and donating part or all of their proceeds to an initiative called ETH Evacuations, which collects donations through cryptocurrencies to help civilians evacuate from the Gaza Strip.

The initiative was launched by artists and activists Faraz, Natalie and Anubis, with about 40 artists participating in the collection. Their works will be exhibited at the Superlative exhibition for a week, and will be available for acquisition on the blockchain through Foundation platform.

This collection is the second of its kind under the name “Art for Humanity”, following the launch of its first version last November, and raised donations amounting to $15,000, which were donated to the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.

It’s worth noting that we’ve witnessed several efforts to raise donations for Palestine and the Gaza Strip using NFTs or crypto during the past period, including the Tezos for Palestine campaign, which raised about $8,000 through NFT sales at the beginning of this year, the International Rescue Committee campaign which opened cryptocurrency donations at the beginning of the year as well, and finally the ETH Evacuations campaign which alone raised more than $200,000.
