Blokkat Organizes Free Online Web3 Bootcamp for Arab Developers

Blokkat initiative is preparing to launch a 12-week bootcamp for Arab developers interested in learning blockchain technology and Web3. The camp will be completely online, free, and in Arabic, consisting of two weekly lectures, written educational content in Arabic, and exercises or tests after each lecture.

The bootcamp, which will begin on February 15th, doesn’t require advanced programming knowledge – just familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming in any programming language, making it suitable for students and beginner developers. The camp aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and fundamental Web3 concepts, as well as some advanced concepts like Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK), consensus mechanisms, and Layer 2 solutions.

Participants will receive completion certificates in the form of NFTs, along with paid internship opportunities worth $1,000 monthly. The camp will also provide networking opportunities between participants and organizers, and concludes with a graduation project that can be showcased on participants’ GitHub accounts.

Blokkat is an Arab initiative based in Egypt, with a community of 300 members according to the latest estimate. It aims to qualify a generation of blockchain and Web3 developers and professionals in the Arab region who are capable of developing applications to solve various problems in the region. Blokkat works to achieve its goal through developing educational content, organizing workshops and meetups, and providing career guidance.
