Nuqtah, one of the pioneering Web3 companies in Saudi Arabia and the Arab region, recently announced its collaboration with the decentralized metaverse platform The Sandbox, and game development company Sandsoft, to organize a contest for designing 3D virtual characters (avatars) inspired by Saudi culture, to be used on the metaverse platform.
Participating artists can use The Sandbox’s VoxEdit metaverse creation suite to design avatars inspired by Saudi culture, submit them by filling out this form, post a GIF image of the avatar on X platform (formerly Twitter) and mentioni Nuqtah and The Sandbox, using the hashtag #NuqtahVoxContest.
The submission window is currently open until February 25. Entries will be evaluated by a jury comprised of members from Nuqtah, The Sandbox, and Sandsoft, and contest results will be announced during the LEAP conference on March 4. The top three winners will receive a land parcel in The Sandbox metaverse, while the next seven winners will receive avatars to use inside the platform.
